New Zealand dollar becalmed ahead of CPI data

By Jenny Ruth Jan. 22 (BusinessDesk) - The New Zealand dollar is little changed ahead of key inflation data due out on Wednesday amidst a global backdrop of unease created by gloomy sentiment coming out of the Davos Economic Forum and by yesterday’s data showing slowing growth in China. The kiwi was trading at 67.25 US cents at 5pm in Wellington from 67.26 at 8:30am.
