Accenture has acquired Zag, the New Zealand consulting firm, in a deal worth $46.4 million according to the AFR. It is Accenture’s first major purchase since covid was declared a pandemic.Zag, which was previously called Soltius, has around 200 staff across its Auckland, Wellington, Sydney, and Melbourne offices, and has been bought to boost Accenture’s local expertise in enterprise resource planning software from SAP.
