Offshore wind developer BlueFloat Energy is pulling out of New Zealand, citing uncertainty over the allocation of seabed space here. Country manager Nathan Turner said that the decision was made after a strategic review.The Spanish-headquartered company planned two fixed-seabed offshore wind projects, one in south Taranaki and the other off the Waikato coast.
