Giesen grabs Constellation winery site

Family-owned winemaker Giesen Group has acquired Constellation Brands’ Riverlands Winery in Blenheim.The site is located just down the road from Giesen’s South Island site. The sale price was not disclosed but the purchase will enable Giesen to process another 6,000 tonnes of grapes at vintage time, extending capacity to 24,000 tonnes.
