Planners working on a mass rapid transit plan (MRT) for Greater Christchurch have identified corridors a future service could use.A partnership made up of local and central government and mana whenua on Thursday opened up consultation on a proposed turn-up-and-go public transport service.According to maps released by the urban growth partnership, called Whakawhanake Kāinga Komiti, the suggested route would travel along Papanui and Main North roads to the north as well as Riccarton and Main South roads to the south-west, joining up in the centra...
