Greymouth Petroleum has won costs from the Crown over NZ Petroleum & Minerals’ handling of an offshore exploration permit the company sought in 2017.The government had already agreed the declined application should be reheard. But the company, operator of the onshore Kowhai and Turangi fields, believed it would not get a fair hearing and went to court in August.
