Immigration NZ will permanently shut its offices in Mumbai, Manila and Pretoria by March, and also plans to withdraw visa processing from its Beijing office.The move impacts 329 staff, who are locally employed in each city.Border restrictions have meant that incoming visa volumes from people offshore have plunged across a number of visa categories, including visitor and student visa applications which are primarily processed offshore.
