Lodestone Energy has switched on its second solar farm as part of its rapid rollout of five solar farms in the North Island.The 50-hectare Rangitaiki site near Edgecumbe in the Bay of Plenty will generate around 54 gigawatt-hours (GWh) a year from nearly 60,000 solar panels.
