Napier Port to pay $5.6m dividend

Napier Port has reinstated its interim dividend and will pay $5.6 million to shareholders, or 2.8 cents a share.The port announced this morning a slightly reduced net profit after tax of $10.6m for the six months to March, from $11.1m for the comparable 2020 period, adjusted for non-recurring gains the prior year.The country's fourth-largest cargo port managed to shrug off global shipping disruption and the absence of cruise ship visits to record revenues of $52.6m, very close to the prior year result of $52.3m.That was on the strength of b...
