New routes propel Christchurch airport HY earnings by 19.9%

A jump of 11.5% in passenger traffic to 3.13 million into Christchurch International Airport helped the South Island's biggest terminal to income of $115.6m for the half year to December, up a fifth on the $96.4m for the corresponding 2022 period.The airport reported earnings before interest, tax and fair value movements (Ebitf) of $45.8m, with net operating surplus after tax at $21.5m.
