Refining NZ extends reduced production

Refining NZ extends reduced production
Staff reporters
Refining NZ has agreed with its customers the Marsden Point oil refinery will operate in a reduced production mode until the end of August, in response to the significant fuel demand reduction from covid-19 travel and transport restrictions. This is a two-month extension to the original agreement. This could mean putting all production on standby for a time to balance fuel supply across the country. The refinery plans to maintain cash neutral spending throughout this period.
