Restaurant Brands snaps up US stores

Fast-food operator Restaurant Brands has the go ahead to buy 70 Taco Bell and KFC stores in the United States.The listed company said in a statement to the NZX on Monday it had entered into an agreement to purchase 58 KFC stores, 11 “multi-brand” KFC and Taco Bell stores and a head office in Southern California.The deal will settle in September.
