Sky talks tough on rugby amid ‘softening’ revenue

Sky Network Television chief executive Sophie Moloney has told shareholders that revenues from customers and advertising are “softening”. But addressing the firm’s annual shareholder meeting on Thursday, she said Sky was still on track to meet full-year earnings guidance and its forecast for a full-year dividend of at least 21 cents per share.It was also on track for its FY2026 dividend target of 30cps, she said.Chair Philip Bowman said there were two immediate priorities: a new rights deal with New Zealand Rugby (NZR) an...
