Takeovers Panel has no objection to Metlifecare scheme

The Takeovers Panel has advised Metlifecare it intends to provide the High Court with a "no objection" statement to the company being taken over by Sweden-based EQT.The panel had delayed providing the statement while it considered the objection lodged with the court by shareholder Craig Priscott.
