Transpower says the grid emergency it issued this morning has been resolved.Following a fault on the HVDC system – which transfers power across the Cook Strait – the national grid operator issued the warning just before 7:30am, declaring a North Island emergency.“The System Operator advises there is a risk of insufficient generation and reserve offers to meet demand and provide N-1 security for a contingent event,” Transpower said, in its warning.Transpower, as the electricity system operator, is responsible for managing...
