TVNZ issues warning despite positive earnings

State broadcaster TVNZ is warning it may still post a loss in its full-year result to June 2025, after posting improved figures this morning. The TV company said earnings before interest and tax (ebit) for the six months to Dec 31 were $11.8m, from a deficit of $6.9m in the previous corresponding period. It was forecasting ebit between $5m and a deficit of $5m for the full year 2025, "with a range provided due to ongoing market volatility and some unpredictability around the phasing of investment in technology".&qu...
