By Sophie Boot Feb. 9 (BusinessDesk) - A North Island property developer has been sentenced to four years and seven months in prison for his part in a $52 million mortgage fraud scheme. Kang (Thomas) Huang, also known as Gang Wang, was sentenced today in the Auckland High Court, the Serious Fraud Office said in a statement. Huang pleaded guilty to eight charges of obtaining by deception, one charge of corruptly giving consideration to an agent, and one charge of dishonest use of a document.
