NZ consumer confidence slips in June as outlook gets murkier

By Paul McBeth June 19 (BusinessDesk) - New Zealand consumers remained bubbly in June, though a murkier future tempered some of the upbeat sentiment. The ANZ-Roy Morgan consumer confidence index fell to 119.9 in June from 123.9 a month earlier, while remaining above the long-term average. The current conditions index slipped 2 points to 122.6, while the future conditions index dropped 5.3 points to 118.1.
