NZ dollar falls as greenback gains ahead of Jackson Hole summit, Prefu looms

By Jonathan Underhill Aug. 23 (BusinessDesk) - The New Zealand dollar fell ahead of the pre-election fiscal and economic update this morning and as the greenback gained before the annual central banking conference in Jackson Hole, Wyoming later this week.  The kiwi declined to 72.75 US cents as at 8am in Wellington from 73.24 cents late yesterday.
