NZ dollar holds near 80 Aussie cents as employment data looms

By Hannah Lynch Oct 11 (BusinessDesk) - The New Zealand dollar held near 80 Australian cents ahead of a report this afternoon that's expected to show unemployment levels across the Tasman rose to their highest in three months. The New Zealand dollar rose to 79.77 Australian cents at 8am in Wellington from 79.84 cents yesterday at 5pm. The kiwi was little changed on 81.69 US cents from 81.64 cents.
