NZ dollar little changed in subdued Independence Day trading as Fed minutes, payrolls loom

By Jonathan Underhill July 5 (BusinessDesk) - The New Zealand dollar was little changed in subdued trading in the face of the July 4 Independence Day holiday in the US ahead of the release of the Federal Reserve minutes and US employment figures. The kiwi dollar traded at 67.61 US cents as at 8:30am in Wellington from 67.65 cents late yesterday. The trade-weighted index was little changed at 72.28.
