NZ dollar rises after RBNZ acting governor says bank adopting more flexible approach

By Rebecca Howard Dec. 5 (BusinessDesk) - The New Zealand dollar rose against the US dollar after acting Reserve Bank Governor Grant Spencer said the central bank is adopting a more flexible approach to inflation targeting as it grapples with persistently low inflation.  The kiwi traded at 68.95 US cents as at 5pm versus 68.43 US cents as at 8am in Wellington from 68.59 cents late yesterday.
