NZ economy probably grew 0.6 percent in 1st qtr on construction, manufacturing
June 17 (BusinessDesk) – New Zealand’s economy probably grew at a slower pace in the first three months of the year, after expanding at the fastest clip in three years in the fourth quarter of 2012, led by construction and manufacturing. Gross domestic product rose 0.6 percent in the first quarter for an annual rate of 2.5 percent, according to a Reuters survey of 10 economists. The figures are due at 10:45am on Thursday.
