NZ employees more upbeat about labour market, less so on wages

By Paul McBeth June 30 (BusinessDesk) - New Zealanders became more optimistic about the state of the labour market in the second quarter as strong economic growth continued to generate jobs, although they're less upbeat about the outlook for wages.  The Westpac McDermott Miller employment confidence index rose 3.5 points to 113.4 in the June quarter, the highest level since before the global financial crisis in 2008, with the present conditions index up 4.5 points to 113.9 and the employment expectations index gaining 2.8 points to 113.1....
