NZ farmer confidence picks up in 2018; horticulturalists upbeat

By Tina Morrison March 27 (BusinessDesk) - New Zealand farmer confidence picked up in the first quarter of the year following two consecutive declines as farmers' fears about the policies of the Labour-led government stabilised. Farmers expecting the rural economy to improve lifted to a net 15 percent from a net 13 percent in the the previous Rabobank Rural Confidence Survey.
