A New Zealand initiative will launch an accreditation scheme for businesses that lobby and engage with the government.Openly is the brainchild of Australia-based New Zealander Nick Booth, who says the scheme, due to launch in March, is a world first for transparency in business-government relations.Since Booth previously spent nearly 20 years working in corporate affairs for British American Tobacco (BAT), the scheme does have something of the poacher turned gamekeeper about it.Speaking from Sydney, Booth said he hadn’t witnessed unethica...
