Covid-19 is not over.It is just everywhere.Because of that, today’s announcements, which substantially relax the restrictions that have ruled our lives for the last two years, do represent a point of no return.Unless a new, far deadlier variant were to emerge now, a return to 2020-style “team of five million” compliance with covid restrictions is almost unthinkable.Other than a diminishing group of people who are either immune-compromised, vulnerable or more risk-averse than the majority, even the most covid-compliant New Zeal...
