When we think of national security, we immediately think of efforts to prevent another horrific March 15-style terrorist attack.We think of the navy patrolling our vast exclusive economic zone to stop our fisheries from being pillaged, and diplomatic efforts to maintain the stability of our Pacific neighbours as they are increasingly courted by China.But emerging technologies are opening up a host of new potential threats. There are the obvious ones like cyberattacks shutting down the subsea data cables connecting us to the internet or cripplin...
