Political polarisation is becoming more and more of a worry for investors these days. In a recently released survey of investor confidence from Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand, the percentage of respondents concerned about domestic political unrest has more than doubled in just one year. The survey was of 548 NZ retail investors with more than $10,000 invested in the stock market or in other investments.Last year, when respondents were asked “what poses the greatest risk to the New Zealand economy”, only 5%...
