Amazon’s fledgling Kuiper satellite broadband service looks set to pick up a lucrative Australian Government contract that will bolster its efforts to take on Elon Musk’s Starlink in Australasia and the Pacific. The Australian Financial Review reported on Tuesday that Amazon had won the deal to provide satellite broadband connectivity to Australia’s National Broadband Network (NBN), which is looking to replace the SkyMuster satellites it currently uses and that will reach the end of their service life in the early 2030s.&...
