Will, or when, will the Government pivot and loosen its stated fiscal objectives? Or will it double down on austerity? I suspect the former is coming. It is just a question of timing and how it’s packaged.Pressures on the Government’s fiscal position are intensifying. The challenges are structural, not just cyclical.
