News agencies have reported that Ukraine may apply to join the Comprehensive and Progressive Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP) by the end of the year.The likelihood of this would have seemed remote, to say the least, in 2015 when negotiators were hammering out the final details of the CPTPP’s forerunner, the TPP.
