Tonight's Reid Research poll for Newshub shows what various private and leaked polls have shown for weeks and what everybody knows: the government is wildly popular right now because its response to covid-19 has held the virus at bay.Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern is hugely popular as the face of that response.Labour is at 56.5 percent in this poll, taken last week and including a big-spending Budget, and Ardern is at 59.5 percent.
