The New Zealand First party is throwing its weight behind news publisher NZME's proposal to take over its struggling competitor Stuff, with a Kiwishare arrangement that would guarantee Stuff titles remaining open for two-to-three years.The surprise announcement at the Beehive was attended by the chair of NZME, Peter Cullinane, its chief executive, Michael Boggs, and NZ Herald editor-in-chief Shayne Currie.Routinely the butt of negative media coverage and throwing barbs at the current media for publishing "fake news" about his own party, Peters...
