Airlines will have to report on-time performance every month and face closer airfare monitoring under changes announced by Transport Minister Simeon Brown.He has also ordered a review of proposed hikes in Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) fees, saying he is “not yet convinced that such increases are fully justified”.The authority has been under fire for its performance and culture and will now have to prove its fee increases meet two essential criteria; being proportionate and reasonable, and delivering tangible results for t...
