Auckland still priority with new cases linked to cluster

Auckland remains the priority for covid-19 testing with all but one of today’s 12 confirmed and one probable new cases linked to an existing cluster. Two of those confirmed cases are people in Tokoroa, but director-general of health Ashley Bloomfield said they were linked to the South Auckland cluster. “Those cases are clearly linked to the Auckland situation. This is where that outbreak is located. We don’t have any evidence of other cases,” Bloomfield said, when asked whether Waikato and the Bay of Plenty should have level 3 restriction...
