BlueScope warns of 'substantial' job losses at Glenbrook

BlueScope Steel is preparing to spend up to A$50 million to lay off a “substantial” number of staff and reduce the scale of its New Zealand operations.The company reported on Monday a A$206 million first-half operating loss on the NZ and Pacific Islands operation, having last month written A$197 million off the value of the business.
