Essential services: Govt clarifies who's in and who’s out

The government has published a more detailed list of which businesses and organisations can be considered essential services as the country prepares for lockdown from midnight Wednesday.  At a press conference this afternoon, Ministry of Business, Innovation & Employment deputy chief executive Paul Stocks said he would caution firms from deciding what their status was before getting adjudication from the government.  He wouldn’t be drawn on whether the Warehouse is an essential service, but added, “we don’t want a bunch of people showing...
