Fisher & Paykel Healthcare clears first plan change hurdle for new Karaka campus

Auckland Council has accepted a plan change request from Fisher & Paykel Healthcare for a new campus, meaning the proposal will now go to public hearings. The NZX-listed medical devices company entered into an agreement in 2022 to purchase a 105-hectare site in Karaka, South Auckland, for $275 million.F&P Healthcare has an existing research and manufacturing campus with more than 3,900 employees at Highbrook in East Tāmaki.It intends to develop the Karaka site as a second campus over the next 30+ years.Request acceptedThe Planning...
