The Government has awarded Wellington’s Paihau-Robinson Research $71 million to set up and host an advanced technology platform.Science, Innovation, and Technology Minister Shane Reti made the announcement on May 5 at Robinson Research’s superconductor research facility in Petone, Lower Hutt.The institute, which is part of Victoria University of Wellington, will be funded to develop the science platform over seven years. The $71m comes from the existing Strategic Science Investment Fund (SSIF).High-temperature superconduct...
