State-owned commercial broadcaster TVNZ is telling its advertisers that leaked plans for a shake-up of public broadcasting are intended to "strengthen public media, not weaken commercial media" and that any change to the organisation's status would "likely take years to implement."Radio New Zealand this morning reported that Communications Minister Kris Faafoi is planning a pre-Christmas announcement of plans to put TVNZ and RNZ into a single public broadcasting entity that would be funded by a combination of public funds and advertising revenu...
