The government expects to get its first batch of covid-19 vaccines by the end of March now that Medsafe has granted the Pfizer version provisional approval.The decision provides a green light for the two-shot Pfzier/BioNTech vaccine, which is expected to deliver US$15 billion of sales to the drug company this year – a quarter of its annual revenue.Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern said the decision means the government can start preparing to roll out the vaccination.
