Hardest hit visitor destinations are at the front of the queue for the fifth round of the government’s tourism infrastructure fund, with tourism minister Stuart Nash indicating $13 million will be up for grabs.Nash had already signalled Kaikōura, Mackenzie, Queenstown Lakes, Fiordland and South Westland districts would be first in line for funding, with the round opening next month.
