Three regulators have outlined “shared concerns” about the safety culture at KiwiRail, alleging commercial outcomes are being prioritised over safety. BusinessDesk has seen a critical letter sent by the director of land transport at Waka Kotahi, the chief executive of WorkSafe and the chief executive of Maritime NZ to Peter Reidy, the chief executive of the state-owned enterprise (SOE), on Aug 24.
