KiwiRail is moving to recover its costs through the introduction of new container terminal and Interislander user charges.In a list of ancillary charges provided to customers, the state-owned rail operator said it was introducing a new pavement levy from July 10, charged at $7.50 per 20-foot container and $12.50 per 40-foot container.The charge will apply any time a container is accepted into or leaves a KiwiRail-operated container terminal by truck, although several sites, including Tauranga, Whanganui and Temuka, were excluded.General manager...
