National launches space policy at Rocket Lab HQ

The National party has announced a new policy that it hopes will help New Zealand get a piece of the rapidly growing global aerospace industry.The policy was announced today at the Auckland headquarters of space company Rocket Lab.It outlines five points it hopes will help aerospace contribute $10 billion to the NZ economy by 2030.These are: appoint a minister for space, create a prime minister’s space prize for young people, address immigration for highly skilled workers, set up two new aerospace testing zones, and improve government dat...
