NZ's space sector revenue grows over 50% in five years

New Zealand’s space sector revenue has grown an estimated 53% over five years, outdoing global growth in space, according to a new industry survey.Between 2019 and 2024, NZ space sector revenue grew from an estimated $1.75 billion to $2.68b, representing an 8.9% year-on-year growth.That exceeded the 40.6% growth of the global space sector and was far above the local economic growth of 8.7% over the same period. The NZ economy grew 1.9% year on year over the five-year period.The global space economy is valued at US$630b (NZ$1.06 trillion)...
