Urgent calls from the tourism and aviation industries for an early end to self-isolation requirements for arrivals in New Zealand should get an answer within “the next month”, following comments by the covid response minister Chris Hipkins today.At a media briefing for the move to ‘phase 3’ in response to the current omicron outbreak, Hipkins told reporters the government has sought advice from officials on when the self-isolation could end.That advice was expected “in the next week or two”, Hipkins said.His...
