Chinese premier Li Qiang will visit New Zealand this week, just before prime minister Christopher Luxon heads off to Japan. The visit will be the highest-level visit from a Chinese official in seven years and follows the visit of China's foreign minister Wang Yi in March.Luxon will fly to Japan, accompanied by a business delegation, from this Sunday, June 16, to Thursday next week, June 20. The prime minister said China was NZ’s largest trading partner, with two-way trade worth almost $38 billion last year, and the country h...
