Wang Yi’s visit to New Zealand will likely be the first in a flurry of high-level diplomatic exchanges between NZ and China this year. Prime minister Christopher Luxon, foreign minister Winston Peters and trade minister Todd McClay all met China’s foreign minister Wang on Monday, with Peters treating Wang to Garage Project craft beer. And there will be more visits to come, but this time from the NZ side to China.Peters told media after the visit that trade minister Todd McClay would be visiting China next month while Luxon...
